Submitting Your Site to Search Engines

Tuesday, May 6th, 2008

This post is aimed at those who are trying to promote their own websites, but even if you are writing content for someone else, you can still make use of these submission links to help promote your work.

BlogExplosion is Back

Monday, February 25th, 2008

I wrote some time ago that BlogExplosion was dead. Nobody was approving blogs and the whole system was on auto-pilot. Well, the site seems to be under new management and is running again. My blog got approved and I’m hearing that the backlog of applications is either very small or totally gone.

The trick is to optimize for good keywords. (more…)

BlogExplosion - Dead in the Water?

Social Bookmarking

Monday, September 17th, 2007

A simple and non-spammy way to help gain a bit of extra promotion for your online writing work, is to create links to it on a social bookmarking site.

Social or shared bookmarks are becoming very popular, not only because it is handy for people to be able to access their bookmarks from anywhere, but also because searching through other people’s bookmarks can help you find quality sites faster than a typical search engine. (more…)
