I went into the forums and read a couple of posts on behalf of the administrators. They were trying to chip away at backlogs and restore site activity. I checked again today, on the 21st, to no avail. Site areas began locking up and not loading. My blog, submitted many, many weeks ago, is still dead. People designated to approve blogs also posted about their accounts being deleted off without prior notice. This spells the beginning of the end, if it hasn't already happened. I thought they just didn't like the format or something. I, too, have had a lot of extra traffic, but like most people I wonder how much of that will ever be repeats.
