Writing for Suite101
Suite101 is an up-and-coming content network that offers a good opportunity to publish articles and earn money for your work. Their freelance hiring system is a little different than most, hence this article to explain it to you. I have worked for Suite101 for some time now, and do recommend them as a site to write for.
They currently have 2 levels of writing positions, Contributing Writer (CW) and Feature Writer (FW). You start as a CW and can get promoted to a FW after you have produced enough quality articles.
To apply, you need to first create an account with Suite101 (with username, and email). Then you fill out a basic application that will include your qualifications, and a writing sample. If you are accepted as a CW, you are then free to start submitting content on any topic in the network (hundreds to choose from). You are paid a percentage of ad revenue earned from each of your articles. Minimum is 10 article every 3 months. You can also earn an extra 10% bonus once you have posted 50 articles. Once you have done 10 articles, you can apply to become a FW if you choose.
As a FW, you will be responsible for a single topic and be required to write 1 article per week, along with maintaining a blog for that topic. You will earn 20% more than the basic CW ad revenue as well. Though you are responsible for one topic, you are still able to submit articles on other topics, just like when you were a CW.
All articles are produced with their online tools, and allow for include photos and links. Statistics are provided daily to help you track your writing success and earnings.
Visit their site for complete application and hiring details.

So, what happens if you are rejected? Can you submit another application with them? I am scared of rejection and would really like to know. Please email me and let me know or leave a comment on my blog. Thanks a million.
